tried balancing my main rotor, but it sure vibrates still. yours looked pretty smooth when spinning up before takeoff.

Gday John, i know its an old video and its a good one... Chicks black stockings work really well, you just need to take the tyres off to fit them, more of a disposable method but works great.

My vintage v2 had a history!! Once it landed in a tree for 6 months and was returned to me.. 20 years later the nose cone and chute separated! After that Estes sent me their last nose cone to me for free!! I’m scaird to launch her again!!

Shaking my head...more money than skill or sense? So many combined mistakes for such large and heavy models. I watch a lot of scale model videos (prop and especially jets) and I'm seeing this trend of wonderful models being flown in ways that really make me wonder what's going on, this demonstration is indicative of that trend. Pity.

All the aircraft had beautiful flights and landed in one piece. A soft belly landing in my opinion is not a crash but a good save. A little bit of scratched paint is not damage but a good save story amongst other pilots and friends.

Wish we could still get these. Or something like this…maybe double the wing span.

This is a difficult plane to fly at low speeds based on the size of the wing and short fuselage

Hey, cool I was also thinking about to try a 3300. Maybe cutting a bit of foam would work. Maybe I try my LiIon 6S 4000 which should weight 50-70g less than the HRB 3300.
